MONTHLY SONGWRITING WORKSHOPS &
PERFORMANCE EVENTS
Open to teens and adults
EasternPA-NSAI songwriting workshops offer educational and networking
opportunities for songwriters at all levels (teens through adults), with
songwriting exercises, song evlauation, and discussions to develop the
songwriting craft and to keep up with changes in the many
faceted music business.
Past Workshops have featured Nashville hit
songwriters, including Grammy Award winning songwriter Don Henry,
#1Billboard Hit and Philadelphia-based songwriter Craig Bickhardt, renowned
educators including the late John Braheny, and Nashville-based Publishers
and Producers who join regional songwriters on Skype sessions from Nashville
with as at workshops in Eastern PA (Ambler studio).
Among workshops' topics are creativity, music theory, chords and melody,
lyric writing, storytelling, music production and recording, marketing and
promotion, music publishing and licensing -- always focusing on what
it takes to create a fulfilling and successful career as a songwriter.
Song evaluations are also a part of the workshop experience, where
songwriters get positive feedback from others on their original songs.
